Partial recovery, partial training. Quads and hamstrings were feeling a mite trashed after Grandfurther, so took a conservative approach to returning to the regularly scheduled program…
Thanks to Mimi Bowen and Nick Cook for getting me moving, and Conner Cook for providing motivation to pick up the pace. Surprisingly, the legs were both ambulatory and capable of modest movement.
Frankly, it was likely not Grandfurther but the two mile uphill/two mile downhill craziness to the top of Sugar Mountain and back that played havoc with the quads. Don Von Hagen, you know who suggested that route…(grin).
