Really runnable trail half marathon in Greensboro. Wasn’t certain what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by how well the trail had drained from the rain.

Started off fast and enjoyed myself for about three miles, then dialed it back to cruising pace. Overall, worked well. Focused on the last third of the race, and maintained throughout.

Shout out to Whitney StCharles for completing the half marathon under challenging circumstances. Well done!
