Dogwood Relay - Loop 5…

Fifth and final of my loops for the Dogwood 24-Hour Relay. More effort than fourth, less than the other three.
Goal was to start after Laura Maile and Liz Goodman and catch up. Managed to catch them about halfway, giving me a chance to share some trail time.
About a mile from the end, put on some speed for the finish. Since I suspected that I would be the last runner, wanted to come in with flair…(grin).
Total mileage for the relay and support runs was 20.4 miles, give or take the delta from the Garmin and Strava adjustments. Total run time without bonus loop was 02:55:34. Average pace, based on distance and time was 10:20/mile. Total elevation was approximately 2,868 feet.
