Had a chance to run a loop with Martin Wileman and Laura Maile, both of who were doing the 36-hour solo event. Glad I had the opportunity, as it is always a pleasure to run with either.
Temperature had dropped from the day’s high mark. Trail conditions had improved, having mostly dried out.
While running with the two, feeling the effect of my other loops, it gave me respect for the fortitude they exhibit tackling the 100-mile and 24-hour, and 36-hour solo events. Hats off to you two!
