Intended an eighty minute progression. Ended up with a twenty-five minute progression, along with a twenty-five minute tempo-ish run…watching Martin slowly pull away…

Started off with the right idea…then quickly degenerated into total chaos (grin). In all seriousness, started faster and increased pace faster than intended. Otherwise, it was dead on target.

At the halfway point, realizing that the plan had been abandoned, decided to maintain pace until catching up to Laura, the other half of the progression crew. Made a valiant effort, but never caught up…it was almost as if she could hear me slowly (so slowly) catching up…and she said, “No thank you sir”…no matter how fast the pace, she kept just that little bit ahead…
