Went for the cold weather experience…brisk (9° at the start) but bearable with the layered approach. The only body parts that were cold were the hands.

Not surprisingly, found some folks with whom to run. “Disappointingly mild…” said one runner. “I was expecting it to feel colder.” said another. Nevertheless, all agreed the wind, when present, sliced through clothing like a sharp knife.

Coffee afterwards was warmly welcoming. The eggnog latte at Open Eye received high marks.
