Took a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to join the 4th Annual Festive Four Mile run/walk to benefit Fostering Hope. The Festive Four(ish) Miler was 4 loops around Grand Park Lake at Market Common.

Some pretty darn fast people running the race. Timing was definitely off for the race, as my (and others) watch(es) reported much faster times. Believe that the calculation was done on a distance shorter than what we ran. The general consensus was 4.27-4.30 miles.

Official time: 29:22 @ 07:23 per mile

Pacing was consistent...but the course was also very flat...easy to gauge. The lead male and female both took off and it was fun to watch them put more distance between us throughout the race.
