Signed up for the race based on Erica Sparky’s comments. Really fun. Well-marked, runnable, and a couple of rabbits for me to chase late in the event…definitely worth a second go-round…
Would have been more fun without the fall onto the ribs at mile 2. Made for some challenging mileage, but the body is truly amazing. Focused the mind on completing the race and the body followed…at least until the finish.
The cheering section at miles 2.5ish and 6ish were amazing. Had no idea that North Carolina had that variety of wild animals! Thankful as always for the awesome Hillsborough Run Club (HRC) members!
