Due to Hurricane Ian, the Carrboro 10K was switched to a virtual format. That doesn’t mean one has to run somewhere else…

Excellent group of folks out on the course this morning. Thanks to Fleet Feet and Randy Mullis for cheering us on!

First mile felt like a traditional Carrboro 10K…went out fast, and while it felt good, dropped back in mule two to make sure there was enough toward mile four. Weather was nearly perfect, with only mildly wet roads and dropped branches presenting challenges.

Had the course loaded into the Garmin, and overall, worked well. Lost about two to two and a half minutes during the run checking the map for directions. So…for next time loading a map, need to:

- Figure out how to zoom in on the map
- Set the watch to alert when going off-course
